The church was started in 1987 and initially had only 7 members. Over the years, Romanians (both from the United States and from Romania) have started to move to Dallas and the church has grown to about 40 members.
The church now has a choir, Bible study groups, and a youth group. The church is continutuing to grow due to Romanians moving to Dallas as permanent residents and due to Romanians already living in Dallas who come to know the Lord Jesus Christ, are baptized, and decide to become members of our church.
In the spring of 2004, the Romanian congregation and the American congregation (Ferguson Road Baptist Church) merged. The Romanian congregation still has a service in Romanian but it also participates in the services of the American congregation.
